Lies, lies and more lies

The media is a weapon and both sides are using it. Below are some excepts from the Taliban spokesperson and their news releases.

NONE OF THESE THINGS EVER HAPPENED

[Taleban spokesman] Qari Yusof Ahmadi: Three British soldiers were killed in Haiderabad area of Greshk District in Helmand Province at 1000 [local time] today. According to a report, the incident happened when the foot patrol of the invading British forces were ambushed by the mojahedin of the Islamic Emirate. The three soldiers killed and a number of others which we wounded were later removed by the invaders' helicopters from the area.

[Taleban spokesman] Zabihollah Mojahed: Twelve German soldiers have been killed in a martyrdom attack carried out by Hafaz Akhtar Mohammad, a hero mojahed of the Islamic Emirate in Shahr-e Jadid of Baghlan Province. According to a report, the martyrdom attack in a vehicle was carried out on the invading German soldiers when their convoy of armoured vehicles was travelling through the area at 1000 [local time] today. Two armoured tanks were destroyed and 12 soldiers on board were killed.

[Taleban spokesman] Qari Yusof Ahmadi: Four soldiers of the invading Canadian forces were killed when their military vehicle was destroyed by mine planted by the mojahedin of the Islamic Emirate in Morghankicha area of Daman District in Kandahar Province. According to a report, the vehicle was totally destroyed and four soldiers on board were killed in the explosion carried out by a remote-controlled mine. The area has been surrounded by the enemy, where no one is allowed access.

The Taliban also reported that the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers last night by the score of 35-0. It was the Bengals 11th straight win to start the season. The Bengals success has made Mike Brown a virtual lock to win Executive of the Year.
